The Ural-Avto-2 automobile radio receiver has been produced by the Sarapul plant since 1973. By order of the Izhevsk automobile plant, a car-wearable receiver was developed and produced on 10 Ural-auto-2 microchips, another rarer name'Ural-auto-202'.

The model is an upgrade of the Ural-auto receiver and is designed for installation in IZH-1500 cars. However, it could be used in any car or truck with an onboard voltage of 12...15 volts.

The radio receiver is designed to receive broadcasting stations in the bands: DV, SV, KV (49, 31, 25 m) and VHF. In car mode, the receiver operates in a special cassette and connects to the antenna, speaker, and on-Board network using connectors. In portable mode, reception in the DV and SV ranges is conducted on a magnetic antenna, and in KB and VHF on a telescopic one. The receiver is powered by 6 elements 343. The receiver has a 10 dB deep treble adjustment.

Battery life 343 at an average volume of 50 hours. Dimensions of the portable receiver 195x60x190 mm, car 195x60x145 mm. The kit includes a car column, as well as mounting material. Excellent condition, there is a small spot of rust on the back side of the mounting housing(the photo shows).
