Tamiya Solar Eagle SRC-6000 Vintage 1/10 Scale Solar Radio Controlled Car

1/10th Scale Solar Radio Controlled Car. Released by Tamiya in1992, an RC model that never seen before in the RC world. It was a replica of a real solar vehicle which raced with other solar vehicles during 90s. Is a three wheels platform, with two in the front for steering and one rear wheel for driving.

The body shell is set of two Lexan parts, the upper shell holds the solar panels, level meter, mechanics, and electronics being attached underneath. While the lower portion hold the upper shell with scratch tape for protecting the mechanics. Only the wheels and switch are visible. The electronics were from Tamiya 1/16. And suffice to run a 280 motor.

Ready to assemble R/C model kit. Uses 6-watt (7.5V-800mA) Solar Panels for running and radio operation. Tamtech 202 R/C unit; C. Unit P-05DB; Plus a Solar motor. Lightweight & tough Polycarbonate Monocoque type body shell. Incorporates three power back-up capacitors. Two front wheels & one rear, for tricycle operation. 8 in transmitter and 4 for testing car. This package provides every equipment that you will need to run it, the Radio system, ESC, Motor, and the Solar panels.
