Shinsei Radio Control'57 Chevy In Original Box Vintage RC Car READ DESCRIPTION

Overall this is a nice vintage RC car. It has been testing working. HOWEVER, there are a few things to note. It does run well in forward, reverse and steers right and left. There are no batteries and no charger.

It does run on regular AA batteries though. I didnt test it on the NICAD option it likely came with. When I got the RC it had a decent amount of corrosion on 4 of the 8 battery terminal connections. I cleaned them off with an emery board, razor blade, compressed air and some electronics cleaner. That did the trick and got it up and running without issue.

However the electronics cleaner left some staining on the plastic around the battery compartment. Also to note: CAR DOES NOT MAKE ENGINE SOUNDS.

It does say so on the box. And it shows a picture of a speaker on the roof of the car. But there are no speaker holes on this car. Im not sure if this is not the original box or if it was mis-boxed or what.

But there are no engine sounds as the box says. Otherwise this thing is in great shape. Minor blemishes on the body but nothing really noteworthy. Still looks really great for its age. Comes in the box shown with the instructions.
