Kenwood KMD-671R minidisc radio receiver for car use, 12 volts neg. Ground single din size from the 90's.

The machine was extensively tested and is fully functional as can be seen from photos. The item is refurbished and looks great, with killer powerful sound. Very capable minidisc player with 4X45 watts of power and deep Bass extension, also great on FM and MW radio. Has removable faceplate, RCA pre-outs for amp / sub and you can control also a CD box(cd-changer of 6/12 CDs).

Ideal for the people who do not like to mess with the radio all the time but need basic simple buttons and not too many bells and whisles. The Kenwood KMD-671R has 2 color illumination RED or GREEN to match your cars dash colour. Has the dot matrix display of the upper class stereos and recognizes Minidisc song and disc tittle provided you wrote it during recording. Will be supplied with new ISO DIN cable connector. Minidisc is home recorded on minidisc recorder or PC drive and the quality is equal to CD. Unlike CDs the minidisc never fails over time as the surface of the disc is never exposed, protected in a case and it is re-recordable without losses. The 1st generation CD copy is a CD clone (lossless transfer) with no audio losses. The 2nd gen copy is sample rate down-graded but really no-one senses the difference. From minidisc PC drive all copies are 1st generation.

Heavy construction and quality electronics inside characteristic of the era, provides that hi fidelity sound we all miss. Completely shock-proof playback and does not mind the dust unlike CD's.
