Delco GM 1969 Oldsmobile Full Sized B-Body AM/FM Wonderbar Vintage/Classic Radio

You are looking at very rare, original Delco / GM radio. According to the part number, this is the model from the late 1960s (1969), built for the Oldsmobile models. Letter "B" indicates that it is a full sized model B-body. As shown in the images, it comes in very good cosmetic condition.

Of course, there are some normal marks of age, some patina and similar, but bearing in mind that it dates from the late 60s, I would say that it is in a great shape for its age. Please check the images carefully, I took some from every possible angle. The FM units from that time were extremely rare, because there was a limited amount of FM stations back then (except in the urban areas). However, I manged to test the radio, and here is the conclusion. Powers up, and It works nicely on FM, captures every radio station in my area.

Even the wonderbar seeking is working, as well as the sensitivity switch (small plate right under the wonderbar) - although it doesn`t always stop on the clear station, but it was a bench test only, with improvised antenna. It is not super loud, but loud enough for the age, I suppose.

I have connected this unit via small plates on the back side of the radio (marked with power/spk/GND). I don`t know what is this blue wire for, but I assume that it is for additional speaker (I have tested it with one speaker, and I don`t know if it has more). The bass/treble plates are working (I can clearly hear the sound variations while moving them). Amazingly, but even the scale illumination is still working! All in all, very rare find that seems to be fully working. Even if it needs some extra attention, it is only about the details. Please note that this radio makes a very heavy parcel (over 4 kgs). All of the photos are original.
