Custom-built Bluetooth vintage classic car radio 12v 6v 24v positive negative

Once upon a time, I had a 6v beetle (because very old VW beetles are 6v not 12v). I wanted to keep it's original 1950s push-button radio, but I wanted stereo speakers and Bluetooth and a decent sound volume.

This seemed like an impossible combination and there was nobody around who could do that, so I bought all the equipment and learned how to do it myself. The end result turned out great by the way! So I thought I would offer this to the classic car community. I can rebuild your original vintage / classic car radio (or a vintage radio of your choice) to have Bluetooth and any features you might want. 6v 12v or 24v, negative or positive earth, all no problem.

So your positive earth British classics, your 6v early Volkswagens or bubble cars/micro cars, and your 24v military vehicles are all good! Mono or stereo, built to work with your cars original speaker/s or with modern speakers, various power outputs, all possible. It's Bluetooth device name can be anything you want (for example your cars reg number), and the PIN number to connect to it can be anything you want too. You can do anything you want with the back-lighting, most old radios had light-up tuning scales originally but the bulbs burn out and a lot of people don't know they even lit up in the first place.
